A Family Affair is a charity project conceived by creative trio Pete Lewis (Fallon), Omar Karim (Fallon) and Wesley Merritt (Debut Art) who are embarking on a fundraising venture in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support.
On June 15th these 3 bike enthusiasts set off to cycle from Lands End to John O’Groats. Their plan is to call in on families who have been affected by cancer, hearing first hand their stories and getting inspired for next leg of their journey.
To raise more awareness and money for the project, they’ve asked 35 members of their extended family and friends to donate their visual skills and produce a piece of illustration/design/art on the theme of bikes and family.
Each piece will then be reproduced as limited edition prints. These will be on sale for £75 each at an exhibition held at Fallon, London on May 16th. They will also be available for a limited period only from their site.
The contributors for this project so far are:
Alice Stevenson, Ben Hawkes, Brett Ryder, Celyn, Crispin Finn, Daniel Frost, Daniel Mead, Dominic Trevitt, Eduardo Recife, Eoin Ryan, I Love Dust, James Dawe, Jimmy Turrell, Jody Barton, Jonny Hannah, Kate Jenkins, Kinpro, Lucas Hunter, Matius Rewoski, Morgan Guegan, Owen Gildersleeve, Parusha Lewis, Paul Bower, Paul Willouby, Richard Hogg, Rob Longworth, Rob Hunter, Ryan Todd, Sara Noble, Stevie Gee, Wesley Merritt.
